Tombo Ati/Obat Hati/Remedies of the Heart
Assalamualaikum,
This one is a reminder especially for myself, elia (extra strength to the heart when facing your patients), and for whoever out there. A remedy for the heart, whether its broken, shattered, hard cold, or even dead, you name it. This song has a looooong amazing history, all the way from the time of Ali bin Abi Thalib, to the Wali Songo's Sunan Bonang, up till now. The song was 1st written by Sunan Bonang as an adaptation of Ali bin Abi Thalib's Teaching.

Mugi-mugi gusti Allah nyembadani
Obat hati ada lima perkaranya
Yang pertama baca qur’an dan maknanya
Yang kedua, solat malam dirikanlah
Yang ketiga berkumpullah dengan orang soleh
Yang keempat perbanyaklah berpuasa
Yang kelima dzikir malam perpanjanglah
Salah satunya siapa bisa menjalani
Moga-moga Gusti Allah mencukupi
The remedy for the soul (the heart) consists of five affairs:
The first is to read the Qur'an and to reflect on its meanings
The second is to prostrate oneself; body and soul, in prayer in the middle of the night
The third is to surround oneself with the company of the pious
The fourth is to endure hunger (by fasting)
The fifth is to never be weary of Dhikr
Should one be able to devote oneself in any of the above, God-willing, one's fate (affairs) will be taken care of (blessed) by the Almighty.

sudah lebih setahun ini lagu jadi ring tone nyah mama dan papa. udah gitu klo nelpon mreka juga instead of "tuuuuut.. tuuuut... tuuuut" *nada sambung-red* yg keluar malah lagu inih.. (features dari telkomsel)
jadi sesungguhnya saya sedikit bosen ama lagu ini.. huhuhuhu

Its sung by this Indonesian Guy named "opick". Who is some kind of Rocker-turned-religious singer. He was unheard of before this album. But this song has been sung by various people before (Like i Said its nearly 500 years old!!!). The song was released in 2003 was particularly big in 2004 so much that it was the hightest selling album in Indonesia. Its unprecedented that a religious songs album would beat popular music. Alright..that's for you mr/mrs/ms. Aonymous...
